Graphics aside, the original 1996 Resident Evil is just genuinely more fun to play than the 2002 remake. If you’re wondering why, it’s probably because you’ve either never played the original or haven’t in a long time. Better puzzles, pacing, progression and design.

I agree with you - 90% of the media is absolute trash. Actually, the percentage is probably higher than that - it's probably 98%. In fact, it is so pervasive that it cannot be by accident. But of course, that is the way it has always been with our "entertainment" industry. It has always been used to shape beliefs and behaviours. The overrepresentation of minority opinions is a technique that has been tried and tested. It's a tool used to program people into believing certain things. You view it as entertainment. And sometimes it is indeed very entertaining. Most likely that occurs when content aligns with our programmed beliefs. I view it as manipulation and social engineering. I dislike being tricked into believing things. I prefer to come to my own conclusions rather than having them covertly inserted by unknown persons for unknown reasons. I'm distrustful of that sort of thing.

Personally I watch this and see a story about people in love, and don’t consider politics or agendas,and don’t really understand how anyone can enjoy 90% of media with a mindset like that. It sounds exhausting.

Look at how manipulative the responses are to your comment. They all attempt to shame you for homophobia or a lack of empathy. It’s the same tactic the Left uses to end all debate. They label their opponents as racists, sexists, homophobic, patriarchical, etc… to shutdown discussions.

@SeverusChud How do you know Snape’s or anyone else’s race is going to be mentioned whatsoever in this story? This might be something to criticize if they indeed turned the story into one about racism….but having actors of different races doesn’t automatically make that so.

I’m sorry, but this is just ridiculous. Race swapping Snape and most of the students, including Hermione, completely kills the immersion in HBO’s Harry Potter show. Snape was written as a thin, greasy haired man with a pale, sneering face. Turning the story into one about racism destroys its internal themes, and ruins the story. This show was over for me the moment it chose tokenism over staying faithful to the books.

PS5 Pro is the absolute best place to play any game period. $749 2TB 4k120 with PSSR2. Gonna be the best day of my life when GTA 6 gets announced to only support 60fps on the Pro 💙

It seems a little basic at first but like many others have said everything falls into place a handful of hours in. The story on the other hand doesn’t hold a candle to Witcher but whatever, that’s low on my priority list.

It’s one of the best open world games I’ve played…I’m 22hrs in and I’m only at chapter 4, I’ve also still not explored 80/90% of the map…the devs have produced something incredible

@DestinLegarie I’m like 15-20 in now and yeah it’s really good. I def think some of the puzzle stuff is annoying like I’ll think I know a solution, it doesn’t work, then I try fifty other things, and realize the first thing was correct I was just facing a half inch in the wrong direction

Hot take. Crimson Desert gets good after about 3 hours. I just think the early onboarding needs some work. Once I was past a few clunky quests (imo) I was hooked.

@Genki_JPN I genuinely didn’t realize there were that many gamers at that age. Interesting stuff. I figured gaming was getting passed down to the 5-20s, and tapering off with marriage and children (at least heavy single player gaming).
