@a_meta4 @Tesla_AI @aelluswamy I just watched a review of the paper, so it's very probable that I didn't get the complete picture, but it sounded basically like using a DNN to optimise the encoding of the context. Sounds very interesting, but I would be a bit surprised if it made an order magnitude to Tesla.

I think what sets Islam apart from other religions is the extent to which it has been preserved. We have the same Qur'an that existed at the time of the Prophet (pbuh). The science of hadith collection is unparalleled in any other religion, meaning that we know a huge amount about what the Prophet (pbuh) said and did. And we have even preserved the Arabic language so much so that a speaker of Arabic in 7th century Makkah would be able to almost fluently understand educated Arabic speech today. Can Christianity, Judaism or any other religion claim this level of preservation? No way.

America should not fight regime-change wars for foreign countries when the outcomes are not likely, plausible, or in the best interest of America. If Israel wants to act fully independently militarily, then it needs to be fully independent and get off this $3 billion-a-year memorandum with America. I’ve been saying this for a while: the best path forward for both Israel and America, strategically, economically, and politically, is to end American aid to Israel and let Israel produce its own weapons and defense systems. We can still collaborate on military projects, technology, and defense advancement, but we need to get off this outdated aid deal. It hurts both countries. It was meant to bolster a young Israel decades ago so it could compete with its neighbors. At one point, American aid made up a significant share of Israel’s government budget and defense spending. That is not the case anymore. Israel is now a regional power. End the aid deal. Find a new way forward that is beneficial for both countries. It currently does more harm than good for both.
