Pinned. It is not surprising that the language used by both Mwonzora and Mnangagwa finds commonality in the notion of “responsible opposition”. Arguably, Mnangagwa and ZANU PF also see themselves as a “responsible ruling party”.

Sometimes you struggle to understand Zimbabweans' reasoning. Today they're shocked by Susan Matsunga. In 2024, many CCC MPs attended Murambinda independence celebrations. Ward councilors attended ZANU-PF's Chitepo School of Ideology & Harare mayor is often seen with Mnangagwa.

@adv_fulcrum @NicolaWatson13 Their Leader of the Opposition publicly endorsed ZANU-PF Amendment Bill No. 3 over a year ago, and not just once. So it’s no surprise hearing Susan Matsunga, Hwende, Custon, Maureen, and Joana faithfully singing from the same hymn sheet as their choir master

@zeustheman05 @edmnangagwa You can say that if you want, not me. Zimbabwe gained independence 46 years ago. South Africa gained its freedom 32 years ago. Cecil John Rhodes died 124 years ago. So what exactly made it so long to bring back the sculptures to Zimbabwe?

@T_Chakoroma @edmnangagwa No. They clearly took the 8 sculptures to SA for Rhodes Historians know this What could stop you from saying "great Zimbabwe was built by Europeans since no eyewitness exists to tell the story"?

Today, we mark a significant milestone in our nation's path towards restoration and spiritual rejuvenation, dear fellow Zimbabweans. This afternoon, at State House, it is our esteemed privilege to welcome back the revered ancestral remains of our forebears, accompanied by the repatriated Zimbabwe Bird, a symbol of great national importance. For over a century, these venerated artifacts, embodying our essence and identity, were wrongfully removed from their rightful home during the tumultuous period of colonial domination. The Zimbabwe Bird's return transcends the recovery of a mere artifact; it signifies the return of a national icon that epitomizes our sovereignty. By laying our ancestors to rest in their native soil, we reclaim the dignity of our heritage and take a monumental step towards rectifying past injustices. Our history is being restored to its entirety, marking a triumph for our cultural legacy, our collective identity, and future generations.

@zeustheman05 @edmnangagwa Everyone knows such documentation exists. But who documented it? Given how long colonizers lived in what is now Zimbabwe, isn't it likely they grew fascinated with local culture and crafted those depicted sculptures themselves? History is always distorted by those who write it.

This is (Dis) Honourable Susan Matsunga, the sitting member of parliament for Budiriro North (Mufakose) . She was voted under Nelson Chamisa’s Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) opposition party. This was today Tuesday 14 April 2026 at a borehole drilling ceremony funded by Zanupf senior member Tungwaz Tungwarara. Important to note is that all CCC candidates who made it on the final list had the express approval and endorsement of Nelson Chamisa under Bereka Mwana and strategic ambiguity. Ndatenda.

@SaMutasao Parliament is the supreme legislative authority of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Do you consider public officials holding significant responsibility, representing 17 millions people as small shopfloor boys and girls? With this you don't deserve to be in parliament.

Today I sat next to the Honourable Member of Parliament for Southerton Constituency, Honourable Bridget Nyandoro. I was reminded of the biblical verse Psalm 133, which says in verse 1, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”It remains a fact that development is not partisan, when a road is built, it is built for all of us, regardless of one’s political party. #Nyika inovakwa nevenevayo."
