All @PressSec does is lie and gaslight. The SAVE Act requires a paper birth certificate or passport to register to vote. Almost 50% of Americans don’t have a passport. Millions more don’t have their paper birth certificate. All told, more than 21 million Americans could be disenfranchised. This is why the SAVE Act is dead on arrival in the Senate. Do not listen to the Republican lies. Senate Democrats will continue to fight for the right to vote for all eligible American citizens.

Those people that are 65 have been working since they were old enough to mow lawns, baby sit or have a paper route. Hell, I live in a tiny house and drive a 16 year old car. And I'm sick and tired of listening to people like you whine and moan because someone has something that you don't have. No one owes you anything. Do like they did -- eat at home, eat leftovers, have 1 TV, have 1 car, clip coupons, take your lunch to work.

I did not vote in support of the SAVE America Act because it would make it harder for Black and rural citizens to exercise their right to register to vote and cast their ballot. It creates new barriers for people who already face enough challenges, including affording and accessing the proper documents needed to vote. This is modern-day voter disenfranchisement.
