My mom discovering that my dad does not care for ground beef about 2yrs before his passing is one of the funniest things in our house. She was the only one who did not know. They had been married for 40yrs at the time. She was so offended we found it hilarious.

Such comments though. 😢😏 Yes, financial literacy is absolutely crucial. But some statements show complete detachment from reality of the vast majority. I would like to see how a person earning USD300 (R5,500 - R6,000) monthly and raising a family can save and invest. 🤔

@TheReporterLS There is a need for serious financial education that needs to be done in Lesotho. Professionals taking loans from banks, when they exhaust that avenue, they go to bo machonisa where the cycle never ends! There is no culture of saving & investing in LS.
