Reminder: if the US believed it had an ace card that would allow it to defeat Iran militarily at a manageable cost, within a foreseeable future, they would not be hectically seeking a ceasefire

A Western-aligned Iranian government could rebuild in under 5 years—with sanctions lifted, SWIFT restored, banking normalized, and foreign investment flowing. 150 years vs 5 years.

Really frustrating how easily avoidable both the Iran and Ukraine War was. Prob the case for many other unnecessary wars but these two are especially a headache. Didn’t need to happen yet it did and now it’s causing an avalanche of problems that we never had to resolve.
