Believe it or not, Swachh Bharat abhiyan has been one of the most successful government projects in a long long time. Under this the Govt built around 12 Crore toilets and fixed basic dignity. Before that, India was the open defecation capital of the world. The ODF Rate before 2014 was a pathetic 38%. We had more people defecating in the open than the entire population of Europe. Today we are ODF free. Personally so many people i know have got free toilets built. But Swachh Bharat did made people realize the importance of cleanliness, it made a few people think before throwing trash on the road. Urban cleanliness, it isn't just a govt duty, if you still throw trash on the road, dump waste in freshwater, then it's on YOU, not the government.

I am saying it again, loud and clear There is no bigger scam than Swachch Bharat.

The GoI is only able to manage not getting consumed by the communist methods of destabilization, designed in Harvard labs and China, because a lot of smart, well-informed, patriotic Indians online help fight the critical theory based communist propaganda for them for free. The communication and PR from GoI is pathetic, to say the least, for all the good things they do. It is only a matter of time the adversaries design better methods of capturing the brains of Govt's own supporters and instigating the opposers to put India into anarchy. While the adversaries run top notch labs, designing propaganda and toolkits, testing them on the ground, the GoI does not even have a small social media monitoring cell to fight a simple infowar against India. This has to be called out by every patriotic Indian. Because even if the party in power doesn't care about its own prospects, Indians definitely need to care about India's political stability, security, and soft power being eroded by an organized infowar and equipping ground forces in India with misinfo based toolkits.

I would say almost all the new age indian brands selling durable products. I mean everyone's marketing game is so so strong and creative that the actual product doesn't feel that good nor premium. But marketing makes you like you are purchasing the best thing in the world. But it's just feels priced more and sad part is most of the money you pay is spent on marketing only instead of product development/improvement.
