"We are a great people with great ideas, not a great idea with people."
Charlie Kirk@charliekirk11

When I do these sit-downs, I get peppered with questions, and sometimes I miss the core of what the questioner is actually asking. I thought he was asking if America's form of government, as outlined in the Constitution, would be possible in a nation of 90% Christian Indians. My point was that, as John Adams famously said, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." I was focusing on the religious and moral character aspect of the hypothetical question. And presuming they were a moral and upright group of Christian Indians, then yes, the American form of government could serve them well. But watching this back, it's clear he's actually asking if America would still be America if you could snap your finger and change America to 90% Christian Indians. The correct answer is, of course, not. America is a PEOPLE with shared history, values, and geography. You cannot replace Americans with non-Americans and have it still be America. Which is why getting our immigration system in order is fundamental to our country's future well-being. When we allow people into our country who do not share our values, we fundamentally corrode the nation. Our foundations—legally, spiritually, philosophically, and culturally—are from the West. That's Common Law, the Magna Carta, Christianity, etc. But adding anyone has risks, just like adding Canada to America as the 51st state could negatively impact the country (namely by adding a bunch of liberal Canadians), even while it's majority white westerners. The ideas and values of America are big enough and strong enough for other groups to assimilate into them (key word is assimilate, and if done orderly and slowly over time), but I am not convinced that a 90% Indian Christian country would resemble America at all. That hypothetical country could perhaps use the Constitution successfully, but it would be something entirely different than America. We are a great people with great ideas, not a great idea with people.

@NatCon2022 Trump won 1 out of 222 Electoral Votes covered by this compact. Unless they get a swing state, I'm not sure how this helps Dems. Other than just giving a middle finger to the constitution and voters.

Descendants of Conservatives Will Be Over 80% of America By 2100 🇺🇸 This chart shows America's demographic destiny if today's fertility trends continue. Liberals are having fewer and fewer kids. They are a death cult. Meanwhile, Conservatives are actually building families at the highest rate in decades. We are winning the long game in a landslide. As long as we raise our kids right and pass on our values, America’s future looks absolutely glorious.

@nicksortor The Trump admin has approved: - FY25: 135k New H-1B visas - FY26: 120k New H-1B visas Total now around 900K active H-1B visas in the US. This is typical Republican "just going the speed limit", but in the same direction as the left.

🚨 JD Vance just highlighted the MASSIVE reduction in H-1B visas and FAKE asylum claims under the Trump admin "The number of new H-1B visas is down about **90%** in the United States of America." "That's something we accomplished PURELY through administrative action." "If you came in on a fraudulent asylum claim, you are an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT!" SEND THEM ALL BACK!

"You can believe that there's a lot of H-1B fraud, while also believing people have come to the US who have enriched this country." @CortesSteve This is misleading. *New Applications* down 90%. New approvals down only 15% (from 140k --> 120k). That means we'll still import 120k NEW H-1B's, on top of the ~800k+ already here.

@AuronMacintyre Through the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), enacted in 2010, the US already forces Foreign Financial Institutions (FFI's) to collect US Citizenship information or face significant fees or sanctions. The fact that we don't force this at home has been intentional.

H-1B Visa Loophole in Plain English: One Worker → Whole Family on the Taxpayer’s Dime Here’s how it actually works: ▪️H-1B brings in one high-skilled foreign worker (tech, engineering, etc.). - That automatically creates H-4 dependent status for their spouse + unmarried kids under 21. → They get to live here legally without working (unless they jump through extra hoops for an EAD card). ▪️ Then the B-2 tourist/visitor visa kicks in for parents, grandparents, and other extended family. → They’re supposed to visit for a few months max… but many overstay, file extensions, or do quick “visa runs” back home to reset the clock and live here long-term. Result? One H-1B salary ends up supporting a multigenerational household — spouse, kids, parents, grandparents — with multiple non-working dependents in the U.S. This is exactly how “we only need one skilled worker” turns into entire families settling here on dependent status. Straight facts. No spin. America’s immigration system has real loopholes.

Quick update on the H-1B state contractor analysis and a preview from a small subset of parsed HHSC Contracts. The most interesting finding (to me) so far: A single H-1B dependent contractor received payment for $10,460,376.99 in staffing contracts from the state of Texas since Greg Abbott has been in office. In only 12 days of April 2026, they've netted $309,113. They also received over $2.7M in forgiven PPP loans and approval for at least 35 H-1B workers. The images below are just a snapshot of recent HHSC state contracts for IT Staffing Augmentation - only one job has a billable rate below $90 an hour. Also of note - most of the "workers" names I've searched list different employers on LinkedIn than the contractor reporting them as the assigned worker. It almost makes you think that many of these people are either not actually working on these contracts or they can't say they are because their H-1B visa was sponsored by a different employer. However, some also show a location in India - so who knows... @GregAbbott_TX how much more of this do you need to see?

🚨 JUST IN: Legislation is being pushed nationwide to pause nearly ALL IMMIGRATION into America Our nation is overrun with foreigners, Muslims, fraudsters and people who want to CONQUER America Pass the PAUSE Act! 🇺🇸 REP. CHIP ROY: "We have 51.5 million people in the US who are foreign born. That's about 16%. That's the highest we've had in our country in our history!" "Maybe we should pause and reform our system and actually make it work so that we can make sure people are coming here who want to blend in and become part of the melting pot and actually adopt our way of life rather than trying to change it." We thank Senator Rick Scott for calling on the administration to end the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program. He’s right that it’s a purely regulatory creation that shouldn’t exist and should be ended. OPT has become a major cash cow for universities, which use the promise of post-graduate work authorization to attract more international students and boost revenue, while helping undermine the job prospects of American graduates who take on student debt and must compete with foreign students willing to accept lower wages in exchange for potential immigration benefits. This, in turn, distorts the labor market by incentivizing employers to hire foreign students over domestic workers, since they benefit from payroll tax exemptions and face no clear wage safeguards. It’s time for @SecMullinDHS to end this program once and for all.

EXCLUSIVE: @SenRickScott is urging the WH to end the Optional Practical Training program, which incentivizes employers to give jobs to foreign students. "The OPT program should not exist; it is a purely regulatory creation with no statutory basis," he wrote. @DailySignal
