And the answer to what they can do differently is "don't kick it that close to the boundary line initially"

@hasumpstuffedup Except he did attempt to keep it in play. The tweak was brought in to stop players intentionally just tapping it out or literally pushing it out to avoid a lasso. He collect and ran parallel to the boundary line, all whilst mid air. Get a grip.

Max Holmes has a clean break in one of his fingers. It was broken in a contest with Adelaide’s Sam Berry last Thursday. Funnily, the two are mates from school and shared a midfield for a number of years. Holmes had several jabs to overcome the pain and play on Easter Monday.
