Attorney General Pam Bondi's Oversight briefing does not end the Epstein investigation. It doesn't even slow it down. The American people deserve a full accounting of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal network, the rich and powerful who used it, and the institutions that protected them. The Oversight Committee moved to subpoena the Attorney General. My subpoena still stands. I am not backing down. Not even a little bit. HOLD THE LINE.

@CedarPosts When I was 17,first thing I did when I got to my permanent duty station, was go downtown and get a Confederate Flag tattooed on my arm. A Black guy in my platoon said, you’re going to get your ass whipped over that. Never had any issues with it. They really don’t care

Last week liberals had a melt down over a Confederate Flag flying proudly in the wind on Lake Norman and visible from I-77. A couple of libs even called NC SHP and 911 to report the flag, then expressed outrage that the cops wouldn’t do anything. I realize this is a shock to Yankee transplants and West Coasters. But if you get off the interstates and drive across the Carolinas on secondary roads you’ll quickly realize these flags are pretty darn common. Trust me no one’s going to steal your children or burn a cross in your front yard. In the South people continue to fly the Confederate flag primarily as a symbol of Southern heritage, local pride, and regional identity, often honoring ancestors who fought in the Civil War. Others use it to represent rebellion, cherished rural lifestyle, or a desire for limited government. But be warned it is also a flashing reminder that FA/FO applies big time in rural Carolinas. Y’all come back now ya hear!

May 16, 1963. Gordon Cooper was orbiting Earth alone inside a capsule barely big enough to turn around in, moving at 17,500 miles per hour. He had been up there for over a day. Then the warnings started. First a faulty sensor screaming that the ship was falling — it wasn't. He switched it off. Then something far worse: a short circuit knocked out the entire automated guidance system. The one that kept the capsule steady. The one that was supposed to bring him home. Without it, reentry was nearly impossible. Too shallow an angle and the capsule would bounce off the atmosphere back into space. Too steep and it would incinerate. The margin for error was razor thin — and every computer that was supposed to hit that margin was dead. Down on the ground, NASA engineers watched the telemetry in silence. They could see everything going wrong. They could fix nothing. Cooper didn't panic. He uncapped a grease pencil and drew lines directly on the inside of his window to track the horizon. He looked up at the stars he had spent months memorizing and used their positions to orient the ship by eye. Then he set his wristwatch. Because when you have no computers left, you become the computer. At exactly the right moment — calculated in his head, confirmed by the stars outside — he fired the retrorockets. The capsule shook. The sky turned to fire. For several minutes, no one on Earth could reach him as plasma swallowed the ship whole. Then the parachutes opened. Faith 7 hit the water just four miles from the recovery ship — the single most accurate splashdown in the entire Mercury program. The man with a wristwatch and a few pencil marks on a window had outperformed every automated system NASA had. We talk a lot about technology saving us. And it often does. But Cooper's story is a quiet reminder that behind every machine, there still has to be a human being who can look out the window, think clearly under pressure, and decide what to do next. The final backup was never the software. It was him.

@BarkleyTracy You would think those contractors would ask before they start digging. Seems like the Water people should have someone on a job like that to make sure. Between all the commercials and signs telling people to call before they dig, stuff like this wouldn’t keep happening

Good morning from good ole South Carolina where the real feel high today will be 79 and sunny. Lots to do today as the "boil water" requirement is finally over. Now to flush all the pipes, change the frig filter, etc. Yay! Happy Friday! 😀☕🇺🇸

My Drill Sergeant used to say “You won’t get in trouble if you show up at the right place, at the right time, in the right uniform.” That has always stuck with me. Anxiety has kicked my ass, today. Doctor appointments, bank appointments, lawyer appointments and work is starting to get busy. Having to get in touch with one to get documents for the others and vice versa. A lot has to get done, in many different areas, in the next couple of weeks, for certain outcomes. In my moderate pain and discomfort today, that anxiety got to me. I just took a minute to pet my dog, and say a prayer, and those words came back to me. The outcome of anything isn’t really up to me. It never was. I just have to do my part, which is to show up at the right place, at the right time, wearing the right uniform. Like God was speaking in my old DS’s voice saying “Too easy, private.”

I defended Netanyahu earlier today, and now I’m going to defend Tucker from similar false smears. I’ve known Tucker for close to 20 years, and the claim that he is anti-Semitic is absurd, as his own words attest. It sure would be nice if we could go back to arguing positions on their own merits instead of using the commie tactic of smearing anyone who disagrees as racists or Nazis.

Me and my cousin would often go dove hunting after work. Occasionaly when the doves were not flying we would just fire into the air and rain pellets onto each other. You should never do this, but we were retarded country boys. We also shot arrows straight up into the sky and ran, also a bad idea. No computer games in those days.

Jan-Michael Vincent was born in Denver #Colorado in 1944. With his handsome looks and charisma he became a major actor in the #1970s and gained fame in the 80's TV series Airwolf. Sadly, like so many Americans, he succumbed to substance abuse problems later in life.

Most people don't know this. Mountain Dew began in the late 1940s in Knoxville, Tennessee. It was not created as a soda. It was made as a mixer for whiskey. Barney and Ally Hartman, bottlers, were looking for a drink that paired well with homemade liquor. They created a citrus blend and named it after a slang term for moonshine: Mountain Dew. At first, it stayed regional, bottled locally, and sold in small quantities across the South. Then in 1964, Pepsi-Cola purchased the formula. Production scaled. Distribution expanded. What started as a whiskey mixer became a national soft drink. #MountainDew

Can you name one thing besides the closed border that @realDonaldTrump accomplished in his first year that still exists today? Everything is gone. Tariffs, Lower gas prices, 50k Stock Market. The USAID was fully funded and hidden at the State Department under a foreign fund. They lied about job creation so that is in the negative. Income Tax refunds was a dud for most people. They claimed that people would receive an extra $1,100 but the average was under $500. His entire first year was wiped out.

BREAKING: A meteor was reported over North Carolina this morning, with a massive boom heard across the state and into neighboring areas. Thousands reported seeing a bright fireball streak across the sky. Officials say the object was approximately 6 feet wide, with most of it burning up in the atmosphere as it broke apart. Only fragments are believed to have reached the ground.
