We also committed to deepening our bilateral relations, especially in areas of trade and counter-terrorism. I presented and requested the Kingdom of Jordan’s support for Prof. Charles Jalloh’s candidature for Judge of the ICJ in the November 2025 by election.

Today, I had a productive telephone conversation with HE Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. We discussed the respite the Gaza ceasefire will bring to people of Gaza & the Hostages.
