@SalSports It officially says doors open for Session 2 at 5:40pm, but how is that even possible since Michigan State game won't even be over by that time? Don't they need to clear the whole arena before letting fans in for Session 2?

@1967Hey @wyshynski I think you might be misremembering just how great Ryan Miller was in that tournament. Named tournament MVP and had a .946 save percentage. That guy is not giving up 5 in this game

@ntrider825 @MoonCake3441 Agreed on the Tkachuks. I hate the way things ended here (and especially his response when VGK first came back to Buffalo), but I just love Jack's style of play so much. I can't bring myself to hate watching him play hockey.

@patrick_amand @CMDeDominicis You are right that over 3/4ths of the league is American teams (78.1%), so we would expect an American team to win most years. But if we randomly drew a Cup winner every year by spinning a wheel, the odds of 31 straight American winners is only 0.04% (not 4%, 4% of 1%)!!

@SalSports And even if this doesn't happen, it seems very likely that the 6th or even 5th best team in the conference will be stuck playing Tampa or Carolina when in a normal system it would be teams 7 and 8 having to do so

Maybe not likely, but it is possible that the "first team out" of the NHL playoffs in the Eastern Conference will be from the Atlantic and have more points than the 3rd place team in the Metropolitan, who will get in as an automatic qualifier.

@2ITB_Buffalo Really? I'd much rather have Tampa in OT than Boston in overtime. I don't see Tampa as a realistic opportunity for us to catch. (Not to mention, if we end up 3rd I would hate for Tampa to fall to 2nd... but again I see them winning the division almost for sure)
