@NovallSwift I’ve been working on this. The best way to not let gaslight hurt you is to build stronger boundaries. Boundaries are a way to protect yourself and know the capacity for connecting with others. In this way, you can leave it and know what’s true for yourself. Internal validation.

If you’re a senior software engineer and you have an educational budget, what would you spend it on? You have to earn credits so attending conferences won’t count. Looking for some ideas.

@shley_ng I spend a lot of my time and money studying and learning psychotherapy. It helps me connect with folks at work.

@TipTopGS If it doesn’t have to 100% relate to my job, I’d probably do graphic/UI design related. If it should relate to job/career path, probably more leadership style stuff. I’ve also been interested in psychology, might be able to put that under job/leadership related.

So I have tennis elbow :( It was caused by lifting weights incorrectly. Wearing a brace on right arm. Any recommendations on how to fix it quickly. I am not lifting (obviously), not swimming. Only doing walking these days. This is the brace I am wearing

@InfamousBrendan Hashtag this #Duolingo agreed. I found an English class geared towards senior citizens for mom and it provided great survival skill knowledge and phrases that she finds very practical
