Porter Airlines, NAV Canada and Ports Toronto have now written letters asking council to defer Villiers Island item to allow for more analysis of whether tall buildings will impact operations at the island airport. City staff say there’s no impact, but major players unconvinced.

@HewittJSB Does your visit also include a stroll by the Cathedral? I was a choir boy there in the late ‘50s and have wonderful memories of that period in my life. I always walk by the church when I am in Ottawa.

When in hometown Ottawa I go to bed with photos of 2 composers on the walls: #OlivierMessiaen (who was on the jury of 1985 Bach Competition I won along with wife Loriod) and Sir #PeterMaxwellDavies when I played in Orkney Islands in 2003. Nice memories. It's the AH museum here.
