State of the Union: 7 Minutes on Olympic Hockey. - 0 Minutes on Tariffs . . .

I'm watching the SOTU . . . for as proud as I am of the Olympic Hockey Team, I feel like this 5 minutes is time that could have been spent talking about possible wars and the economy.

I stopped being active on X a while ago. But I will never let it go. What if I need to yell at an airline or want to publicly shame my cell provider? Do you think they are going to respond to an angry Instagram picture? No. X is where Karens live and . . . I can be a Karen.

I'm sending a Tweet just to keep this account active. I don't think I've sent a tweet in two or three years. I have a TikTok and Instagram. I make Long Island jokes. My twitter is just a remnant of a career and time gone by! Anything new happening here?

@Verizon @VerizonSupport is the worst. Made me call 4 times, wait on hold for hours, talk to AI apps—and now they shut off my incoming calls by mistake. Can’t turn it back on. Rep texted me she’s going home for the day. What if there’s an emergency tonight?

I'm on a direct app with @VerizonSupport @Verizon because my phone service is not working. The online person can not call my phone to see what happens when people call me. This is the PHONE COMPANY!

@Verizon and @Verizonsupport give better customer service when you act like a Karen in public than if you respectfully try to call their tech support. And don't get me started on the guy in your Roosevelt Field, Long Island store.

I’m heartbroken to hear about the @SouthernU_BR student who died after an off-campus fraternity ritual. It’s been 30 years since my dad nearly lost his life during a similar hazing incident at Southern University. While he’s alive, the brutal hazing left him paralyzed and blind. He is no longer paralyzed, but he’s still blind & has fought tirelessly for decades to regain his sight. He’s currently trying to get into a clinical trial to restore his vision. My family is sickened that, decades later, Southern University has allowed this to happen again. I pray that, unlike my family, the victim’s family gets the justice they deserve. Southern was never held accountable, nor were those responsible for what happened to my dad.
