CARLISLE, Texas - In 2023, a junior high school principal was arrested after failing to report a s*xual as*ault… and he is STILL employed as a principal. Paul Louis Richards, principal of Carlisle Junior High School, was booked into the Rusk County Jail on a charge of failing to make a required child abuse report. (Student on student) According to an affidavit, on September 23, 2022, Richards’ office was notified of an alleged s*xual as*ault involving a student victim. As a mandatory reporter, he was legally required under Texas Family Code Chapter 261 to report the incident to law enforcement within 48 hours. He didn’t. So explain this - WHY is he STILL employed as a principal over children?
