It’s deja vu all over again. These are the questions that the FDA Advisory Committee unanimously decided more than a year ago had not been answered for aducanumab. The FDA’s accelerated approval has been a pointless disaster for people with Alzheimer’s and our Field.

$ABBV is down 10% after the FDA said makers of JAK inhibitors must add warnings of heart conditions, blood clots, cancer and death to their labels. This also impacts $PFE and $LLY. This doesn't pertain to drugs from $INCY and $BMY, however.

1. "No vaccines" we still haven't picked up the pace post Ice Harvey, ranking near bottom for vaccinations.
2. No masks
3. Rising B..1.1.7 variant based on new Houston Health wastewater data.
4. Slight rise in positivity

The White House has resumed the search for a permanent FDA commissioner in the face of opposition from D senators to Janet Woodcock. A final decision has not been made, but Woodcock's chances are slipping. Josh Sharfstein, is no longer being considered. biocentury.com/article/634529
