@Sara_Imari I think scientists don’t emphasize the speed constraints and energy barriers involved in interstellar travel enough, many people think it’s a technological problem when it’s a physics problem. This allows people find it plausible that aliens casually visit earth all the time.

@WithnailReturns @Sara_Imari I would say it's very suspicious. And I would add that it's interesting how only this one branch of the military has this footage. The tens of thousands of commercial airliners, complete with pilots recording their flights, have recorded nothing.

Don’t love that the WGA hasn’t commented on the news we have a “deal” yet, and — as much as I love Matt — he’s not exactly unbiased when it comes to the unions.
This feels like the studios trying to pressure the guild into taking a deal.

News: The Writers Guild has come to a tentative deal with studios on a new 4 year contract (yes, an extra year than normal!). Health plan/pension increases, SVOD bumps, protection to police licensing for AI training, more. Still must be recommended and ratified, but huge news.

The simulation hypothesis has no more weight than holographic universe. One says someone else is responsible for our reality while the other says we are. Neither have any evidence more compelling than the other.
Our brains interpret our reality through our physical senses. To what are our brains interpreting to? All of our senses have a sense organ but our brain interprets those senses. To what? Consciousness.
