@TrueCommunities
True Communities mission is to help people think differently about how we get around and develop urban and rural areas that foster true communities

I love infrastructure like this because back in Canada and the United States, building this would be harder than flying humans to the Moon. You’d need to get permits for: 1: A train bride 2: “Environmental concerns” 3: Shops under the bridge 4: No street parking 5: No car parking lots 6: Bike parking areas 7: Size clearance And probably so much more that I’m missing

I wanted to not have to write about metrolinx cocking up GO plans in a huge way again, and yet here I am on Thursday night typing away

We want to make better, faster passenger rail service a reality for southwest Ontario! I had a productive discussion with local communities, @Via_Rail and @Metrolinx about improving passenger rail for communities and our High Frequency Rail project.

✅We need improvements to the existing VIA Rail service, including more service to Brockville, as promised since HFR was proposed in 2015. ❌HSR in the 401 corridor has been rejected before, and wouldn't stop in small cities like Brockville at all. recorder.ca/news/brockvill…
