All these people saying it’s “Not” 2008 are right and wrong. They say we don’t have the housing issues we had back then. So many people underwater on mortgages. That could change in a heartbeat, and prices are probably gonna see another 25-30% drop in many places. The big difference now, and why we may see foreclosures spike is that now, you have 1 Airbnb investor with 10-15 properties… one person goes down and drops 15 properties on the market at rock bottom prices. The housing market could drop more precipitately than 2008-2009. We could easily see a 20-30% drop in the equity markets with what is going on.
