1/3 - Today on #WINWednesday we honor Force Master Chief Suz Whitman, who enlisted in the Navy in 1985 as a yeoman and became the 1st woman to be the Pacific Fleet Senior Enlisted Leader in 2015.

2/2 - This visit was an important opportunity for us to build upon our solid foundation, discuss ways to strengthen our navies’ partnership, as well as reinforce our commitment to the region and the @NATO alliance.

1/2 - Denmark is a key maritime partner and I am grateful that our navy-to-navy relationship has expanded over the past several years. @usembdenmark

3/4- They did it because they chose to answer their nation’s call - no matter the cost. As we celebrate #MemorialDay this year, I encourage you to remember those who carried our freedoms on their shoulders.

2/4- While most of us cannot understand the grief of those who have lost loved ones defending our nation, our hearts should break for them. Those #Sailors, #Marines, #Soldiers, #Airmen, and #CoastGuardsmen who gave their lives did not wear the cloth of the nation for accolades.

1/4- #MemorialDay is a special day for all #Americans. It is where we, as a nation, honor and remember those who gave their lives so that we might live in freedom.

2/3-Dr. Mariano retired from the Navy in June 2001 after 24 years with the rank of Rear Admiral and joined the Mayo Clinic of Scottsdale, Az. Since then, she has founded the Center for Executive Medicine, a concierge medical service in North Scottsdale, Az.#NavyWomenMakingHistory
