Mark Pope definitively says the Yaxel Lendeborg $7-9 million report is FALSE. "I don't want to spend all my time chasing all the false stories. I don't want to be a fact check. But, stories like that, for example, that story is 100% categorically false with no truth to it."

@Monty4033 We wanted to bring Richie Saunders here to come off the bench as well and he turned into an all conference guard that very year. You can’t bank on it but you also can’t count out development. Kid has all the tools just needs to refine his game.

For the people who keep saying year 3 Chandler can be one of our best players next year. He is an extremely 1 dimensional player, he gives you nothing inside the arc but turnovers. He needs to be a 6th man next year.

@agershon99 You made the plays to get down but they also made the plays to be in the spot to win and that was taken out of the players hands in a game where they told them they were letting them play physical. We can criticize and give credit even in a loss.

@CBeasmoreSports Oweh and Aberdeen both played 35 mins plus. 38 for Aberdeen. Oweh would have been there had it not been for foul trouble. Same with Chandler and Moreno was hurt early. We need to harp on the pattern and grouping of subs. That’s what’s hurting, not the total minutes.

@bvince1993 @keithtaylor21 @_BBNtel_ He can’t recruit depth for the depth 😂. The thing is that he’s gonna be here next year regardless and it’ll be make or break. This HS class isn’t good anyway so kill the portal and win or we get a new coach. Simple as that.

@keithtaylor21 @_BBNtel_ Well it’s been two years in a row where injuries have affected the season. At some point it’s the coach’s fault for not recruiting depth. We have no HS recruits signed and we’re going all in again on the portal when we had more money than anyone to spend last year and failed.

@AllMikedUp @BRamseyKSR We made the plays to our ourselves in a position to lose that game but also the plays down the stretch to win it and I believe that gets overlooked with the loss. Got taken out of the players hands which always stings. Call them all or don’t call it there.

I get that. Being negative isn’t something that I “like” to do. I like to be proud in what I’m watching as well. But at my root I’m blunt, and I’m a realist. I don’t have to be politically correct because I don’t really have a job that tells me that I have to be. If we win, no… that doesn’t necessarily make us any better. But a win is a win at the end of the day. But one that kind of blends in with the theme of the season we’ve had.

Not really sure how the referees were the first thing some people thought about after that master class of a game. I know my brain really didn’t even go there. And then I come on here and see stuff, and now our coach is talking about it in the press conference and in the hallways. Really interesting stuff.

@UkChef32 @KySportsRadio These kids need to be in better shape.. too late this season but a 18-21 year old shouldn’t need more than a couple min spell in each half at most. TV timeouts and everything else?!? You can’t blame mental fatigue or free throws on running out 36-38 minutes.

@TerrellTres B. Pope deserves criticism but at the same time no other team has dealt with injury like UK. Healthy last year could have easily resulted in a final 4. This year it derailed the whole thing. Roster may not be the best anyhow but definitely not after injury. Make or break year 3.

@Monty4033 These two seasons have been a bit of a roller coaster but that’s a bit much. How many wins over top 15 opponents did BCG have? How many tournament wins? That was a debacle, this is stil tbt. Not great sure, may not work but nowhere near that.

Why is the first clip NOT an illegal screen but the second clip IS? #9 Chinyelu was never set, base was too wide, led with his hands, and rolled into Chandler. Did the second one get called because he missed the first one and it led to three points? CALL THEM ALL!!!

@KySportsRadio Agreed but UF on the road is a little more understandable. They’re the best club in the nation analytically since conference play and it was 2 possession game late with all our blunders. Not too upset with this one.

If Kentucky fouls 31 times and gets called for 22 and Tennessee fouls 24 times and gets called for 19…… wouldn’t that mean Kentucky got the benefit? You’re not this dumb, stop acting like it. 3 clear walks were let go. Elbow to the head….was let go. The foul call on Estrella was absurd and the last 2 fouls in the last few seconds were called on Tennessee for breathing I guess.
