@Antonio87092873 @Jason2bartlett Your profile says you're in The Netherlands. Do you shout "kill the Boers" when you're out and about?

@BrandiKruse Considering who you support as president, it's obvious that you take more issue with him as a biker than as a pedophile.

Weird, someone who wants to bike naked in public is a pedophile?

@PNWConservative My eyesight isn't what it used to be. Is there a list of what color tabs go with what year?

I just had a very disturbing Good Friday encounter with an ICE agent at the airport
As I was going through security, an ICE agent asked me for my ID. I told him this isn’t Soviet Russia and that the only citizenship papers I planned to show him were the Declaration of Independence
“Sir, I’m just asking for ID, not proof of citizenship,” he said.
“Today is the anniversary of Jesus’s resurrection,” I replied. “He was an American. Would you have asked to see his papers too? Would the scars on his hands not have been enough for you?”
He was stunned silent. I strode past him without showing my ID and went through the metal detector
I received a standing ovation

@GovBobFerguson My son gets a ballot mailed to my house for every election. He hasn't lived in this state for years. You'd think there would be a system in place to cross-check voter rolls between states. If I were a dishonest person, I could easily cast his ballot 🗳

Elevators used to be manually operated and were especially risky if the operator was tired or inebriated.
Now, you just get in, press a button and a modern elevator, if inspected regularly, is extremely safe.
James Stephenson@ICannot_Enough
Nobody is skeptical of autonomous elevators because nobody alive today was even around to see a human elevator operator in real life before the last one got laid off. Automation is far safer.

@RogerSeheult @Delta @SkyWestAirlines Last flight of the day. I've been on flights like this. What would you have preferred? Force the connecting passenger(s) to spend the night in Salt Lake so you wouldn't have to wait a half hour?
English

Hey @Delta @SkyWestAirlines my daughter is on dl4279 tonight from SLC to SGU and right after boarding the pilot came on and said “my boss told me that we have to wait 40 min for a passenger before we can take off.”
That’s great that you can modify your operations based on the needs of your customers! I don’t know the circumstances but I’m sure you made the right decision. My question is when the rest of us have a similar situation can you direct us on how to communicate that to delta or sky west so that we can get the same great service?
Take your time. I’ll be in the cell phone lot waiting.

I was in the airport VIP lounge en route to Seattle a couple of weeks ago...
While there, I noticed Bill Gates sitting comfortably in the corner, enjoying a drink.
I was meeting a very important client who was also flying to Seattle, but she was running a little bit late.
Well, being a straightforward kind of guy, I approached the Microsoft ex-chairman, introduced myself and said...
"Mr. Gates, I wonder if you would do me a favor?"
"Yes?" he asked.
"I’m sitting right over there," Pointing to my seat at the bar, "And I’m waiting for a very important client."
"Would you be so kind, when she arrives, as to come by and just say, "Hi Tom"?"
"Sure," Bill agreed, with a kind smile.
I thanked him and went back to my seat...
About ten minutes later, my client showed up.
We ordered a drink, and we started to talk business.
A couple of minutes later, I felt a tap on my shoulder...
It was Bill Gates.
"Hi Tom," he said.
I looked up and replied...
"For heaven's sake, Bill, not now, can't you see I’m in a meeting!"
