@Valhallash @bo66ie29 Those patchy tarmac jobs alone can make a street look worse than it is.
Had a look on Google and the rest of the houses on the street are really nicely maintained so it looks like a bit of a cherrypicked example. The roads are still shit though

@PWaynorth @cultured_spice And you’re alive when you give your consent or not Peter. Another bitch.
English

@Valhallash @cultured_spice doesn't autonomy require you to be alive?

No because I’m not selfish. My organs are useless to me after I’m gone. Someone could remove one and make a nice casserole for all I care.

I have opted out of organ donation as the trust has gone. Does anyone else feel the same?

@revconundrum @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach I’m Irish you dumb fucking skirt wearing cunt 🤩

All my life, my whole family thought we were Irish.
I always made corned beef and cabbage on St. Patty's Day. I love corned beef!
We thought we were Irish because we have a lot of redheads in the family. Plus, our tree shows that our family, the McCalls, immigrated from Ireland in the mid-1800s.
In 2009, I even took my daughter on a trip to Ireland to show her the country our family came from.
Then I did my DNA. Turns out, we have no Irish at all. Not even a fraction of a percent.
We're Scottish.
The McCalls originated in Scotland and immigrated to Ireland in the 1600s.
Guess I'll have to take a trip to Scotland one day. 🤷♀️

@revconundrum @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach Sub group, documented in history and many countries. You’re boring me with how dense your mind is. Enjoy living in the past Irishman. Like I said- it keeps your mind up your own arse.

@revconundrum @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach It says it on one of my passports? Funny that.
English

@Valhallash @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach Do you realise the absolute dribble you're spouting, they were Scottish and English Protestant's, not British, there's no nationality as British.
English

@revconundrum @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach No, They were plantation British Protestant citizens. Full blood Scottish. They lived for 40 years in County Antrim, in a primarily Protestant settlement. Therefore, culturally they’re Ulster Scots. Scottish not Irish. But their culture is.
English

@Valhallash @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach No, they were Scots and their descendants were Irish of Scottish descent, NOT Ulster Scots... Don't try to make something happen, it's not going to happen.
English

@revconundrum @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach Jee whizz like- and Scottish! My family in NJs ancestors were Scottish, lived in northern Ireland for 40yrs before immigrating in the 1800s. Northern Irish Scot’s? Ffs ULSTER.
English

@revconundrum @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach Afraid not kids. I read history books for fun. Be in denial, I really do not care what you do or don’t believe. However, Ulster men and ulster Scot’s, the true hillbilly’s of the south, helped build America 🇺🇸
GIF
English

@revconundrum @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach Who originated in Scotland… history says otherwise.
English

@Valhallash @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach Irishmen, they're Irishmen who are ashamed to be so, Ulster Scots don't exist.
English

@Valhallash @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach You mean the Irish diaspora and the Scots diaspora, they're not the same thing, as Ulster Scots are a myth.
English

@revconundrum @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach In 1700s there was a huge wave of Irish Scot’s/ulster Scot’s who immigrated to America. Thus many Americans assuming Irish when they’re actually Scottish. Who were indeed also Protestant. Populated most of the Appalachian. Magical creations🤩 very similar culture.
English

@Valhallash @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach Similar, not the same and a few Irishmen that hate themselves are not going to magically create a cultural, especially not ripping off Scots words and bastardising them.
English

@revconundrum @SilentHitoshura @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach I agree but it still doesn’t mean they don’t exist. They most certainly do. When it comes to the initial post I replied to- Scottish and Irish cultures are very similar.
English

@SilentHitoshura @Valhallash @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach Ulster Scots... Irishmen who hate themselves so much they're trying to build a culture that doesn't exist, have you seen their pish attempts at creating a "language" it's hilarious.
English

@Nunya2161047767 @AmericanaMama_ Yeah people “running their mouth” he was unable to compose himself. He still fails to see the difference in someone attacking a kid physically, unprovoked. Usually one good hit back, ends the whole show.
English

@Valhallash @AmericanaMama_ He apparently ended up in juvie and not prison.
He likely had a habit of physically attacking people who were verbally bullying him rather than physically attacking him.
English

@SilentHitoshura @revconundrum @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach Because that sub group exists ffs. The Irish &Scottish have been breeding together for 100s of years. Both moving back &forth. But the plantation triggers nationalists. Who were fucked over by their own &still continue to be. But I need to read more? Move on and open your mind.
English

@Valhallash @revconundrum @FJ88279821 @wilsonhlthcoach Why bring it up then?
You know heritage is more than just a cute fridge magnet you lot can dust off in a conversation.
If you don’t care then don’t bring it up.
It shows how intensely ignorant you are not to understand these are STILL contentious issues.

@Asandry4 @Nunya2161047767 @AmericanaMama_ Defending yourself as a child doesn’t lead to prison, unless youve always had psychotic tendencies. Youve stated that they end up in prison as adults. My now adult daughter doesn’t have a taste for violence. I’m glad she smacked the shit out of her bully as a kid.
English

@Nunya2161047767 @Valhallash @AmericanaMama_ You sure live up to your name don't you.
Yeah I'm that weird criminal that hasn't committed a crime in 27 years.
They better do something about me and fucking quick

My toddler napping is my break. I’m clocking out. I’ll get some stuff done here and there, or make lunch. But that is my time…. I’m brain rotting or reading or working out… doing something for myself. When I realized I can just get chores done when he’s awake, and he can either play or help, it was very freeing. This is advice I’d give all new moms. Don’t worry about occupying your kid so you can get stuff done. Just let them watch or help. It will take 10x longer but it will give you something to do on the days you’re just at home. Kids don’t need entertainment 24/7 and if you get a lunch break working a real job, you should get one as a SAHM too 😂
English

@Asandry4 @AmericanaMama_ Did you end up in prison?
If so, maybe it was because you’re a criminal and nothing to do with standing up for yourself. Hitting back isn’t a gate way drug to start punching random people for nothing 😂
English

Take it from the kid that got bullied and used to beat the shit out of the bullies. Your kids are learning during a time when they can be violent that violence is the answer to their problems. But what happens is they become adults and they haven't learned to deal with the problems without hitting people. At that point they start going to jail in prison for doing it.
If you spent their entire life telling them that it was okay, then what you've done was set your child up for that failure that they are in jail for. But hey, why not huh.
And you know it doesn't have to just be hitting. If I feel like hitting you I can go ahead and hit you. And you would act like the victim. Just because you think you have proper justification for assaulting someone doesn't mean you really do. You're not the one that gets to decide that

A homeschool mom I know told me today that she can’t wait until her kids turn 18 so they can move out & she can have her freedom back. That hit me deep, in this visceral place I didn’t expect. It made me sad in that old familiar way I thought I’d outgrown. Because it always bothers me when parents talk about their kids like they’re burdens or deadlines to rush through. And honestly…don’t most of us who choose to homeschool do it because we want more time with our kids, not less? Because we actually enjoy them & want to be part of their becoming? When did 18 become the magical age that a child is ready for the wild wild world? When I was 18 I was living alone in a tiny apartment in the roughest part of town, walking everywhere, scared & unsupported. My parents called it tough love. I resented them for it because I wasn’t ready to be thrown to the wolves. I’ll never do that do my kids. They can stay with me, on my land, in my home, in my orbit, as long as they want. Forever sounds perfectly okay to me. I want to guide them through every phase, every challenge, every celebration, as long as they will allow it. Being a mom isn’t something I’m eager to outgrow. I don’t see my kids as a countdown. I see them as a lifelong devotion. I waited my whole life to build the home I needed…I’m staying present for every bit of it.
