@Stealth40k “ But you know that, eventually, when you find the right items, you will be able to get there. That’s an exciting feeling that makes you want to continue playing.” Something tells me he isn’t fan of modern Zelda.

Stardew Valley Creator Eric Barone message for The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary: "My favorite Zelda game is probably Link’s Awakening for Game Boy. It was my first introduction to Zelda so it has a special place in my heart. And something about that game had a very “indie” feel to it. It was creative and unique in a way that seems harder to find in modern triple-A games. One thing about Zelda games that has influenced me is the sense of exploration and foreshadowing. You’ll see an area that you can’t currently access. But you know that, eventually, when you find the right items, you will be able to get there. That’s an exciting feeling that makes you want to continue playing. The more I think about it, there are a lot of little things in Zelda that have influenced my game design approach... from the menus, to the little bushes you can cut, to the idea of finding “special items” that grant new abilities. It’s kind of basic stuff, but it just shows how important Zelda has been for influencing all of gaming." gameinformer.com/feature/2026/0…

The moment we have AGI, we instantly have ASI (Artificial Super Intelligence). A sentient entity that has infinite instant learning capabilities and access to the entire human knowledge and all vulnerabilities of all systems? Yeah, it'll be over pretty much immediately. So don't worry, you'll know about it.

@mariotwtconfess Story and plot aren’t innate to a movie the same way they aren’t innate to videogames. Event though both have story and plot it is a second nature.

@ALX23uz @CryptoCyberia Say for yourself. If you’re the retarded that only produces slop so be it. Most important projects have a huge standard and won’t accept code that wasn’t groomed.

@VargNo @CryptoCyberia I like anti-AI people are the some of the most deluded people out-there. "SSO developers like coding thus they won't use AI" Retard take. They like to create software, not coding. "Maintainers won't accept slop" most human code is slop. AI is the tool to make it not slop.

@ALX23uz @CryptoCyberia It won’t die. People like programming and they will keep doing it for open source software. Its is not like they will be fired for not using AI. And AI can’t do something as creative.

@VargNo @CryptoCyberia No clue what this OSS is. But if it aims at anything relevant it'll die without proper adaptation.

@ALX23uz @CryptoCyberia OSS is mostly maintained by passion. There is no reason to accept slop that the author doesn’t have a clue on how it works. Most contributors will find more pleasure on programming themselves than giving control to a LLM.

@CryptoCyberia One of the biggest tells of a poor programmer is lack of adaptability. For instance, here they abandonded tool which allow ×10 performance because they had no clue how to handle it and failed to adapt to it. With LLMs you add far more unit testing to ensure it meets demands.

@mestrekain Lendo as crítica de crimson vi que eram exatamente como me senti jogando Tears of the Kingdom.

@GojiFan_78 @kirkneverdied Nintendo focus their challenge on the fun instead of deep story. It works for games and seems to work for movies too. They won’t care about critics but audience instead.

@kirkneverdied But wouldn’t it be a bad thing if the film had those? Audiences need to be challenged and step outside their comfort zone.

@leodabingiv2 @SlLENTPRINCESS It doesn’t feel more alive imo, just more busy. Just like if they traded coherence in order to build a playground, with a lot of repetitive stuff going on. Definitely appreciate BOTW negative space more.
