After an ICE agent tried to hit me with his car door as he drove by a neighbor came over and said they got the plate number if I wanted to report it.
I just sort of stared at them and said “thanks, but who would I report it to? ICE?”

There was no national ban on gerrymandering for Republicans to ban. There was a provision, in a much larger radical bill, that some Dems called a national ban on gerrymandering. Journalists, however, shouldn't repeat dishonest partisan messaging

Last time gerrymandering was brought to a vote, every single Democrat voted to ban it, and every single Republican voted to keep it.

Democrats don't really want a national ban on gerrymandering in large part because both Democrat and Republican data experts agree it would hurt the Democrats. It's a talking point. In California, their nonpartisan gerrymandering board was packed with Democrats, some of whom just claimed to be Republicans to get on the board.
