@VisionZero_Lou @gggrlck @KYTCDistrict5 I think the city paid to install these when the state was repaving, at @KTYC's approval. Should repair requests go to @KYTCDistrict5? Or do 311 reports get routed to KYTC when needed in cases like this?

Some meatball in a giant truck hit the crosswalk sign behind mid city mall at about 45 mph while i was walking. Ran directly over it by driving down the center of the road and speeding away—looked 100% intentional

Metro Louisville should offer a rebate to citizens who purchase an e-bike. We already do this with electric lawn equipment, and other cities (like Denver) already do it for e-bikes.

Safer Speeds is a pillar of the Safe System approach. Reducing Metro-owned roads to 35 MPH is a first step.

@allvowels Best practice is a 1-month trailing approach. If someone goes to the hospital and dies within 30 days of a crash, it is attributed to the crash per MMUCC. So Dec 2022 will be available early Feb 2023.
