Percent of Louisville households that do not even own a single car. When you build only for cars instead of transit, bikes, and walking options across the county, you are leaving up to 50% of households behind and unsafe. Based on 2022 Census tract data: data.census.gov/map/040XX00US2…

💚🥾Proud to announce the official property transfer enabling the new greenway between the Douglass Community Center and Cherokee Park. This is a major step toward safer, greener connections in the Highlands‑Douglass neighborhood.

Lower Manhattan's pedestrian volumes are some of the highest in the city, but the streets are still designed almost exclusively for cars, sidewalks included... This study shows how critical it is to transform these streets into people-first public spaces! myemail.constantcontact.com/Street-Smarts.…

One exciting feature of the New TARC Network is the new bus stop signs! These signs are larger and double-sided, so passengers can see them no matter which direction they approach from. Each sign includes: ➡New Route Numbers: The route number will be the main identifier you use for your route. ➡New Route Names: The route name typically reflects the primary corridor(s) each route serves. ➡Route Branches (e.g., 1A, 1B, 1C): The new network includes route branching, where a single route splits to serve multiple corridors. Letters identify the different branches so riders can make sure they are on the right bus. ➡Route Destination: Indicates where the bus is heading, its final destination, and the direction of travel. ➡Route Travel Path (via): Shows the primary and secondary roads the bus will take to reach its final destination. ➡Color-Coding by Route Frequency: Each route is color-coded to show how often it runs on weekdays (Red = 15 minutes, Blue = 30 minutes, Green = 60 minutes). ➡Stop ID Number: You can text the Stop ID on the sign to 321123 to receive information about your next bus arrival. ➡Real-Time Bus Arrival: For real-time arrival info, text LOU and your Stop ID to 321123. ➡TTY Disability Phone Number: Customers can dial 711 for communication assistance. ➡Customer Service: Each sign includes the Customer Service phone number and website for easy access to information and live help.

Rode the Bergen Bike Bus today to make a big announcement: We’re redesigning Bergen Street and Dean Street, from Court Street to East New York Ave — adding new bike boulevards and more pedestrian space. Safer rides to school for New York City kids coming soon.

Syd Mead's 1975 concept for the Kentucky Derby of the future. Take note of the anti-gravitational comms hub floating over the infield with signage that reads INTRNET. (The term "Internet" was coined in 1974.)

The Old vs New Logan Square Park. Biggest change is routing Milwaukee Ave around Logan Square Park instead of through it. That same space will also be the new home of the Farmer's Market #Chicago @ChicagoDOT
