FLSB expert seminar series continues with the first talk in 2026 by Dr. Vivek Rao from CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB). Thrilled to host Dr. Rao who delivered an engaging talk on “Fighting TB inside out: metabolism as an Immune strategy”.  Starting with a brief historical perspective on tuberculosis (TB), he highlighted a compelling example of drug repurposing—the potential of the antidepressant sertraline to enhance the effectiveness of existing TB treatment regimen.
