DeSantis, who I believe is the best governor in Florida's history if not the nation's, needs to publicly endorse someone in the governor's race. If he allows Donalds to be installed by the establishment, then he is allowing the Swamp to take over Florida without a fight.

Every FL voter needs to watch this video. It is Byron in a nutshell. The only thing that wasn't completely accurate was Byron's pot arrest. It wasn't just possession as he claimed for years; it was actually distribution. He finally had to recently admit that he was a drug dealer.

@MyInfo71916519 Didn't I just have this discussion with you in another thread? For starters it's old news and completely irrelevant. And it's just wrong. The law was updated by the Legislature for clarification, but it wasn't necessary for DeSantis to be able to run without resigning.

For all you DeSantis fans. Flashback: If DeSantis decides to run for president while remaining governor, it will likely require a change to Florida law. Florida currently says state officeholders must resign their positions if they run for a federal office. But Republican lawmakers, including state Senate President Kathleen Passidomo, say don't worry about the law — Now DeSantis signed SB-7050 paving his way to run. For Passidomo to say, dont worry about the law was wrong! DeSantis knew it and changed the law!

@MyInfo71916519 @richardgalaxia I think that bill was just extra insurance from the Legislature in case anybody kicked up a fuss. The original bill's language left room for DeSantis to run even without the new bill.
