We Too Built Britain
@WeTooBB
Founded by @Zehra_Zaidi to tell the stories of under represented groups in Britain and to bring people together

Student presentations were also inspired by @PreetKGillMP and @TomTugendhat campaign on Hidden Heroes. Brilliant to see how they have applied the ethos of this campaign to reflect the values of @ASPnetUNESCOUK . Huge thanks for the video message.

The day's arrived! The John Ystumllyn Rose (first rose to be named after an ethnic minority Briton) has its debut at #ChelseaFlowerShow (or any show). Created by @harkness_roses with me & @WeTooBB to signify friendship, community & tolerance♥️. Come meet us at the stall all week

Honoured to have contributed to Agenda for Action on race equality alongside contributors whom I greatly admire. Some good policy ideas for Government. Thanks to @sundersays , @steveballinger @britishfuture @RyanShorthouse @WeAreBrightBlue for their leadership in curation.

The Queen says the planting of the John Ystumllyn rose at Buckingham Palace is a mark of "friendship and community". John was one of Britain’s first black gardeners and the rose is believed to be the first named after someone from an ethnic minority background.
