Yesterday I got the amazing chance to be on @foxweather with @juststormchasin and @LucyWx24 a big thanks to @BrandonCopicWx for getting us on!

‼️ CAREER UPDATE: A new chapter On April 10th, I will wrap up my time at WHNT News 19. It’s a strange feeling to close a chapter that has meant so much to me. It’s a chapter filled with breaking news, little sleep, early mornings, and stories that reminded me every day why I love this work. The Tennessee Valley has shaped me in ways I’ll be grateful for forever. And no, despite the date, this is NOT an April Fools joke. This is not an ending. It’s a step forward. I’m excited to share that I’ll be joining the incredible team at @WVTM13 in Birmingham. This is an opportunity that challenges me, pushes me, and allows me to grow in ways I’ve been working toward for years. I’m honored to be stepping into their newsroom. I’m walking into this next chapter with a full heart and a lot of gratitude. Birmingham is a city with energy, history, and stories that deserve to be shared and handled with care. I’m ready to get to work. To the Tennessee Valley, thank you for trusting me, supporting me, and letting me capture your moments. These communities will always be home, and I’ll carry them with me forever. I leave you with one piece of advice: pursue passion, embrace chaos Let’s get to work.

Intriguing possibility tomorrow: The warm front if forecasted to move slightly slower than the Bunkers right mover -- ENE at 35-40 kts. Theoretically, a storm could track in the helicity-rich and positively buoyant air for hours. 🤔 Starting to buy the hype. haha

Severe Thunderstorm Warning including Hammond IN, Gary IN and Merrillville IN until 10:45 AM CDT

It is funny, chasers love to call out the SPC if a forecast busts. They also like to call out the SPC if the forecast does not meet what they believe they are seeing in the models. The case here is for Thursday. Chasers want a higher risk for the zone they want to chase: further west in the Iowa area. The SPC sees it differently, therefore the SPC must immediately be questioned and are wrong. I have one for y’all. Stop hyping up events based off model runs that are days out. It gets old. I guarantee the forecasters at the SPC are a million times more knowledgeable than you are. And they don’t base their forecasts off a few “robust” model runs.
