I'd rather do without.

Through back to last year when I was 5 month pregnant Astro and Pluto were my very first rescues after I rented this big farm which is now home to 67 amazing fur babies 🐶. I'm living my dream. But soon I will loose this job within 2 weeks approx if Work from home is not extended. This will be my last pay. The period between resignation and new job will bring many financial challenges......I have no savings. Whatever I earned in last 3 years I spent on them. Please save my children from going back to streets, from sleeping hungry and from being sick with no vets. Majority of my babies are not sponsored, which brings significant financial pressure on me.

I’m going to be honest…$5 Friday is rarely a good donation day for me. But today, I am praying we can change that. Asking for donations is one of the hardest parts of doing this work. I don’t like doing it. I wish I didn’t have to. But the truth is… donations are down dramatically, and we are at risk. We need help to cover monthly expenses and to get dogs into the vet who need care. Dogs like Daisy Mae’s puppies. So many of you followed her story… Daisy Mae was found dumped on the side of a back country road in the freezing cold, nursing her babies who didn’t even have their eyes open yet. Left out there in coyote country… like their lives didn’t matter. I brought them to the ranch, and not long after… we lost her. And then it was just me and seven tiny babies. Every three hours… around the clock… bottle feeding, syringe feeding, praying, hoping, doing everything I could to keep them alive. Their eyes opened. They grew teeth. They gained strength. They started running, playing, living. Every single one of them survived. I promised Daisy Mae I would take care of them… and I am. But we can’t do it without you. These puppies now need their next rounds of vaccines. The candy litter needs their second round as well. And the vet bills are here whether I’m ready or not.
