First time since college taking Metro this late at night from my hometown and it’s chaos. A track reportedly caught fire and riders have been unloaded twice since Shady Grove — stuck 20 minutes at North Bethesda and again at Medical Center with zero guidance leaving the platform. Then a bus drops us at Bethesda and even the driver doesn’t know if trains toward DC are running. Station gates closed, no signs, no information. How is this acceptable? @wmata
