MOSQUE APPLICATION – BARKING AND DAGENHAM I have been asked to fight an application to turn the old Post Office, at 279 Wood Lane (A124), Dagenham, into a mosque. This is on a busy shopping street, close to Valence Park, at least 4 primary schools, and a special needs school. The "ArRabia Foundation" want to turn this old Post Office into a “place of worship and community centre”. london-now.co.uk/news/25942901.… The application says there will be 2 prayer sessions on Fridays, one for 65-70 people, the other for 30-35 people. I am asking you for donations toward the out-of-pocket expenses of £2,000 to resist this planning application. givesendgo.com/Dagenham As usual, none of the money goes to me but on the costs of fighting this application. Please forward🔁

Would you rather live in a society where a man is free to criticise religious practices or one where such a man might be dragged to the public square to be damned and shamed as a blasphemer? For me it’s a no-brainer. It’s the former. I want the freedom to object, as scurrilously as I like, to every pious ritual and godly doctrine. We used to call it ‘freedom of thought’, and our ancestors gave their lives to gift us that most cherished of liberties. ✍️ Brendan O’Neill Article | spectator.com/article/nick-t…

@Katie_Lam_MP We have excellent immigrant medical staff in this country and you have a hissy fit because of one con artist. I think you’re bordering on racism here.

Cases like this are why the NHS can't afford to rely on migration. Far too many people can get away with having poor qualifications, or fraudulent qualifications. It puts patients at risk. Let's train more doctors and nurses here instead.

@SuellaBraverman I work in an SEMH school, where 4 & 5 year olds display sexualised behaviour, partly because of trauma, partly because of lack of education. Teaching them about these things is vital. But it needs to be balanced. Respecting space and bodies = ✅️ Contraception and LGBT = ❌️

Is X just a vehicle for anti-Islamists or is it just my feed? Seriously, that’s about all I ever see.

@JohnCleese Yes, because all Muslims are the same, just like all Jews and Christians and Sikhs. Sheer prejudice.

Kemi Badenoch disaster of an interview criticising the Ramadan Tent Project's Iftar at Trafalgar Square is something to behold 😅 @RamadanTent did it without objection under 4 Conservative PMs: 2015 under David Cameron 2019 under Theresa May 2022 under Boris Johnson 2024 under Rishi Sunak Gary Gibbon, "What is your objection to the Muslim prayer that happened in Trafalgar square" Kemi Badenoch, "As a woman from an ethnic minority background, I do not like to see women shoved to the side, segregated, in an event that is not welcoming to others" "Trafalgar square is a public space which we use for inclusive events" Gary Gibbon, "But the event was welcoming. It was inclusive. It was inviting other people to come and see what the moment was like" *Badenoch's eye lashes flash faster than a butterfly chasing nectar* Kemi Badenoch, "A segregated event like that, I do not think the Mayor should be party political" Gary Gibbon, "So gender segregation is your objection?" Kemi Badenoch, "Yes, but more than that" Gary Gibbon, "But lots of religions have gender segregation" Kemi Badenoch, "Not in public spaces. This is not about freedom of religion" Gary Gibbon, "The Ramadan Tent project organised events at the Victoria & Albert museum, in front of the Royal Albert Hall, under Conservative administrations" "They've been developing this public way of showing their faith and inviting people to come and observe it" Kemi Badenoch, "Without knowing the details of those events, I'm not making a comment" "I'm taking a specific event about that type of mass prayer, segregating women in the middle of Trafalgar square" "We believe in religious freedom, that doesn't mean any religious practice in every single religion" "Sometimes the authorities need to set guard rails and say actually this is too much"

This is a grim picture of the appalling behaviour Jewish students are facing. These vile individuals are masked to intimidate. We should not tolerate this. Any student involved must face firm disciplinary action, or we signal this behaviour is acceptable. Enough.

Earlier this week the @UJS_UK put out a report about antisemitism on campus. This is it in action at @ucl in London on Tuesday. ‘Say it loud, say it clear, Zionists are not welcome here.’

In Britain, it will soon be legal to murder a full-term baby in the womb. But it will be illegal to criticise Islamic practices or teachings. Hell is a place on Earth. And it is Britain in 2026.

@benhabib6 He turns off the comments so people don’t have to read the vile, racist comments he used to get. I was one of the many who suggested he did this.

Conservatives are on the side of hard working people. On the side of people who contribute to making our country great. On the side of people who want to get on. The Conservative party are on your side. So on May 7th, vote Conservative and get Britain working again.
