A reminder for those scared after the Dougie drop off without Kamara last time. We were literally out on our feet at the end of that season with no squad depth and relied on him as the sole cdm. He can now play next to Onana and Bogarde and knows the club inside out #avfc

@BookofAEGIS @TheTechnician44 People are forgetting the 90+% wage bill was on the ~280m turnover, so even without shedding the bill (which we’re doing anyway) the % which is the important number will already be significantly lower as turnover is much higher year on year with the new sponsorships

Jacob Ramsey joining Newcastle (#nufc) from Villa (#avfc) for £40m is a good deal for the club and the player.
1- He's never really set Villa Park alight.
2- His injury record is more suspect than most.
&
3- Despite his talent, he's 24 and never held down a 1st team spot.

The fact we have a wage to revenue ratio of 96% is down to the club making bad decisions it couldn't afford to make.
