Sad to hear Mike Peters has passed away. First saw TheAlarm in ‘86 when working on the Queen at Wembley concert. They were the second band up after INXS and they really rocked Wembley.

Not a great start to 2025, with poor health the last couple of months and then today receiving an email from work notifying me that my job role is under review (along with the rest of my team) and that I face redundancy. Maybe after 18 years in my job it's time to look around...

@British_Airways Hello. Thanks for return & fully understand. FYI, I asked at check-in if possible to change middle seat for isle. They did see a spare isle seat but unable to allocate it. They did find a window seat for me. On board there was an operational spare isle seat. System said no! BA108

@British_Airways Why when I’ve specifically chosen a seat and it’s confirmed do I get bumped out of that seat when I check-in with no possibility of changing on-line or being able to talk to someone via phone!!? Very frustrating.

I am extremely fortunate and eternally grateful to be the owner of these five beautiful hybrid sports cars, which, in my opinion, are true ‘works of art.’ Unfortunately, because of the potholes on our roads, I may have to find new owners for them. I’ve been driving these iconic Italian cars since the seventies, and I absolutely love and adore them. #OnThisDay in 2011 Lewis Hamilton won the #AbuDhabiGP for McLaren, & when he left the team a year later he gave me the boots he wore to win that GP. They’re now in my study at home, along with a few other mementoes & a lot of books. Working with Lewis was an honour & a pleasure.
