My main issues is that it’s a vulnerable community anyone can access and respond with anything, and posting cuts or ‘thinspo’ can’t help health and safety

ppl will try and act like shedtwt is just this silly place where mentally ill teens get to have a community but this is the reality of it. a lot of our moots are on the verge of commiting and we need to accept that even if we try to help each other this is always a possibility

It really hurts seeing oomfs commit suicide or seeing them attempt it, i know a lot of them suffered and they want peace but still. Especially when they're not even 18 yet, i don't know if river is gonna end up surviving but if he doesn't, i really wish him peace he wanted

@yoimi_i @freakbargeekbar @p1umblossom The premise of the community isn’t awful, but the effect is that it has a lot of young and traumatised people suggesting and sometimes glorifying harmful behaviour, which isn’t giving people the safe space to adjust to a healthier mindset, but encourages staying the same

From the posts that show up on my feed it’s a lot of people posting harm pictures with silly captions or encouraging people to starve
