By accepting the invitation to visit China, Party chair of the Kuomintang Cheng Li-wun (鄭麗文) is undermining Taiwan's de facto sovereignty. A loyal opposition would form a democratic united front vis-à-vis Beijing. Alas, the KMT isn't one.
