Two worldviews are clashing here: The Leftist thinks the Right is racist. They believe it motivates their policies on policing, immigration, everything. And they are often Christian. So to them pointing out Jesus isn't white (and no one thinks He is, this is am imaginary allegation) is a big own. For the Leftist is always thinking about race. And they assume and build their morality off of the Right being the racist evil they need him to be. So then how ironic and hilarious all these Right wing racists follow Jesus. So it becomes: "You hate brown people but do you realize Jesus is one?" However the Right responds saying they don't care. They genuinely believe the idea content of character not color is what matters. So this attack has zero effect. They love Jesus not because He is white or brown but because He is God who transcends all that. The Right, at its best, doesn't care about race and wants to move on. The Left doesn't believe the Right so they throw this kind of post up all the time. Never realizing it reveals far more about themselves than the people they think they're insulting.

Just a reminder for Christian's celebrating Easter this week. Jesus looked like the guy in the first picture - not the second.

@jkbdts @RevivedThoughts @KrioroD The parties never switched. Democrats liked to exploit cheap labor then (slavery) and they still do today (illegal immigrants).

Some landlords own dozens - or even hundreds - of properties, making huge profits while millions of young people can't afford to buy. Should there be a legal cap on how many homes any one person can own?

@ScratchMoore @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner Pew research (which your paper also cited btw) is a meme? lol Not once did you deny that Democrats are happy to use illegal immigrants for cheap labor in agriculture btw. You proved my point.

@XRPrecon @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner You are using a meme that has been rendered incorrect by the paper I shared. You are voicing an opinion that has been proven incorrect. Instead of digging your heels in, you should take the info and change your opinion to one based on facts, not fiction. We’re done here.

@ScratchMoore @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner The incentive structures are fairly obvious, but sure. Btw, you said Republicans were voting against their own interest by supporting deportations. Why would they do that? Makes you wonder.

@XRPrecon @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner I hope you read the whole paper, but in case your time is short, this is a screenshot of the conclusion. Research-based, fact-based, unemotional, and black-and-white proof that your opinion should change with the new information your receive from this paper.

@ScratchMoore @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner Removing cheap labor would require wages to increase. It would temporarily create a labor shortage and increase wages. It may require subsidizing. Democrats have gained several seats which is why they fight to keep them included in the census and fight deportation.

@XRPrecon @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner The red states who rely on their cheap labor are the ones voting against their own interests when they vote for Republicans who want them deported. The red states benefit if they stay. 2020 census data shows that Dems would add one single seat, not changing the balance of power.

@XRPrecon @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner You keep saying Dems exploit labor. Where do undocumented folks mainly work? Farms in red states up the middle of the country. 70% of farm workers aren’t born here, and 40% of them are undocumented. How are Dems exploiting the labor of workers in deep red states? It’s nonsense.

@ScratchMoore @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner I literally addressed that exact issue. Go read it and come back with a real argument. Democrats then fought to keep forced cheap labor for their economy and power. Today they fight secure borders for the same reason. Exploitation. They’d lose cheap labor and congressional seats

@XRPrecon @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner The entire thread is about KKK and slavery. When you ignore the entirety of what chattel slavery was and what immigration currently is to solely focus on the labor aspect alone, that’s a sign of a weak argument. Ignoring the forced labor vs voluntary labor angle is disingenuous.

@AndySocrat800 You can't have "surgeries" unless you're body is fully developed and you're an adult. Do not justify your hatred with made up scenarios. Infact it's way too costly and hard to access even as an adult.

@ScratchMoore @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner You’ve yet to contend with my claim a single time. You haven’t demonstrated that my claim is false. (Because I’m right) You think I care that stances on specific policies shifted over the years? The overarching theme is the same. Crying about the terms I use is deflection.

@XRPrecon @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner You people crack me up. Continually and desperately cling to “Democrat” and “Republican” from 1860 as if that’s even relative to what they are today. Progressive. Liberal. Conservative. If you weren’t deliberately being disingenuous, you would use those terms, not party names.

@ScratchMoore @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner My point was that Democrats were and still are the party of exploitation. They wanted their slaves and now they want their illegal immigrants. They exploit them for cheap labor and to expand their control through congressional apportioning. All true. I made no other claim.

@XRPrecon @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner No, I’m pointing out to you that your argument holds no water once it is zoomed out to include more than one single issue. MAGA is the party of big govt nowadays. I dare you to even attempt to say Trump isn’t all about overreach and big spending and govt intervention.

@ScratchMoore @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner You tried to pigeonhole me into a gotcha response that would 'prove' you right. You already know who pushes big gov today. I included the context you wanted ignored; it shows the inconsistency on Fed v state powers when it suits the goal of maintaining an exploited labor class.

@ScratchMoore @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner 19th-century Democrats didn’t champion small government on principle; they used states' rights to protect slavery, but loved big federal power when it suited them (Fugitive Slave Act 1850 forced Northern states to help recapture runaways). They are the part of exploitation.

@ScratchMoore @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner Ending forced labor of human trafficked people (slaves), good. Refusing to reward lawlessness (voluntary illegal entry) while stopping the exploitation of cheap labor, also good.

@XRPrecon @UltraNoticer @BibsCorner The method then was accepting that labor force as citizens, but the method today is expelling that labor force and not giving that same aid in becoming citizens? Dude. You’re so far behind in the logic game, you think you’re leading. Stop.
