After playing Tarkov 1.0, I feel like this is, more or less, what I was expecting the full game to be like. The main quest line is interesting and is a whole new twist on how we progress through Tarkov. I’m very curious about how Tarkov ended up the way it did. I just can’t help but feel that I’m no longer immersed in the game. This is likely because I’ve just played the game so much that I’ve already seen everything there is to see. I’m constantly chasing emergent gameplay in the games I play, and I just can’t get that with Tarkov anymore. And it kinda bums me out. I was really hoping Tarkov would recapture me with this update, but I think those feelings have just moved on for me. I do still plan on getting an ending for the game regardless, but I won’t be playing the game every day each week. I just want to attempt to get the true ending (save yourself, save Tarkov).

As someone who is sick of meta bases and believes they contribute a lot to the death of online raiding This would make online raiding so much more viable if they truly removed multi tc. Yes, offline bases would suffer, but perhaps this would bring the playerbase back to a mentality of farm back up and get revenge. Saving your base from an offline at the cost of never getting onlined killed a really fun aspect of rust. I get online raided regularly and it's so fun, but I never got onlined when I built meta bases.
