Over 3 million Virginians spoke loud and clear in a free and fair election — and now, because MAGA Republicans didn’t like the outcome, the Virginia Supreme Court struck down the results of the election. Let’s call this what it is: voter suppression. They keep losing when people actually vote, so instead of changing their policies, they keep trying to silence the voices of the people. The power belongs to the people — and every attempt to silence voters only exposes how afraid they are of the people’s voice.

The Virginia Supreme Court has narrowly voted to overturn the will of the people, who voted for a new map to counter Trump’s gerrymandering. This is despite Republicans in the South moving to eliminate Black-majority districts without even a vote after the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act.

Spanberger should pull a DeSantis and ram through the map. If Republicans can do it - and without the public vote - why not the rest of us?

The Virginia Supreme Court just rejected the will of the voters. Democrats are exploring every legal pathway to protect the integrity of Virginia’s elections.

BREAKING: The Virginia Supreme Court has voted to overturn the results of the state’s special election. This decision silences the voices of Virginians who approved an updated congressional map that levels the playing field ahead of the midterms. The fight continues.

Governor Abigail Spanberger
More than three million Virginians cast their ballots in Virginia’s redistricting referendum, and the majority of Virginia voters voted to push back against a President who said he is ‘entitled’ to more Republican seats in Congress with a temporary and responsive referendum. They made their voices heard. I am disappointed by the Supreme Court of Virginia’s ruling, but my focus as Governor will be on ensuring that all voters have the information necessary to make their voices heard this November in the midterm elections because in those elections we — the voters — will have the final say.

So, the Virginia Supreme Court just nullified the will of the People regarding the April 21st referendum. The precedent was set in Louisiana. Now Virginia! We are witnessing not just voter suppression, but lawfare on a massive scale, in real time.

Republicans: Pass new maps in Tennessee, Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas ALL without a vote — upheld Democrats: Pass new maps in Virginia with a vote from the will of the people — overturned Make it make sense.

IN spooked them. They thought they had Trump and MAGA contained. They thought they could ignore Trump. They thought that MAGA was weakened, split, and easily put back in the corner. They believed the fake polls. They figured their podcast bros caused more than enough agitation within the base. They thought without Kirk and by attacking his widow non stop they ended the threat of TPUSA... IN showed them that they were totally, 100% wrong on all of the above. IN showed them they don't have the mid terms in the bag. IN showed them that Thune was wrong to not accept the deal for a Trump endorsement for Cornyn in exchange for the save act passing. IN showed them that their podcaster doomers were nothing but digital noise. IN showed that what they thought they accomplished over the last year was nothing but a mirage. IN showed them they got zero ROI on all their efforts. IN was a watershed event not because the incumbents lost, but because everything they thought was true was proven wrong.
