Have a feeling Marathon is going to do what Destiny did and leave solo players in the dust for all its best content and story drops. Again. A decade and still can't invent a way for solo's to enjoy half the content, raid stuff and engage with story elements with everyone else. My entire time playing Destiny, haven't done a single raid because i'm a solo player, the most fun I got is when they finally decided to let us be part of the final battle with everyone else in the final shape. Surprised they didn't just make the Witness fight a raid only ending too.

Marathon devs have shared their reasons for Ranked and Cryo Archive being weekend only: - Players will lose a lot of gear, so Cryo and Ranked should feel like an event you schedule towards and grind gear up to do - Some rewards on Cryo are too good and would break the economy and power gain systems if it were always open - Cryo and Ranked both have gear ante requirements and level requirements and need a consistent flow of players in the queue to make sure matches are full to retain the challenge. Making it a scheduled event means more players will show up during that window.

I’ve noticed a pattern; when a decent game comes out that expects you to be curious, to be observant and to pay attention, a lot of tourists-turned-reviewers are the first to rage quit, refund, or low-grade that game.
Some games aren’t for everyone, but I’m starting to think the pattern is made pretty clear by those who say they don’t like yellow paint, but absolutely need it.

View counts aside, a lot of games have issues with visual clarity and conveying information to a viewer/player; Path of Exile is a great example of this
Another good comparison is the visual clarity of Counter Strike to something like Rivals/Overwatch
