I thought about it & I simply don’t give a shit about Zcash or Monero. Bitcoin IS ALREADY 100% PRIVATE. Addresses don’t have any identity attached to them, but people keep doing mental gymnastics to convince you this is not enough. It doesn’t get any more private folks. 🚀

AI alignment may take decades to solve if it can ever be solved. GPT5’s lameness is hardly a reason for AI safety advocates to slow down. It’s a gift. A needed shift in timelines giving humanity a bit more time and a somewhat greater chance to figure it all out before it’s too late. It’s cause for far greater focus, more effort. We have much more of a real chance now.

AI privacy is critically important as users rely on AI more and more. the new york times claims to care about tech companies protecting user’s privacy and their reporters are committed to protecting their sources. but they continue to ask a court to make us retain chatgpt users' conversations when a user doesn't want us to. this is not just unconscionable, but also overreaching and unnecessary to the case. we’ll continue to fight vigorously in court today. i believe there should be some version of "AI privilege" to protect conversations with AI.
