@CorksRedFM @_PetInsurance_ I've had my dog insured with them for about 5 years and made a claim in 2020. All good. Now, they've changed the company handling their claims & they're insisting a continuation is a new claim. I'm paying €38 mth for nothing. @_PetInsurance_ my contract is with u, not Davies.

If you are with @_PetInsurance_ read your policy VERY carefully. Even on the "premier" level, your pet is NOT covered for lifesaving surgery if its a complication of spaying. Seems to go against the grain to punish people trying to be responsible pet owners.

@_PetInsurance_ @eosull @DPCIreland If the actual age of the applicant is not a factor in determining the policy, but is simply a security control once someone has signed up, then it is not necessary for the purpose of issuing a quote and shouldn’t be asked for at the point of application.

@_PetInsurance_ @CBridge_Chief @DPCIreland It’s not specifically about the security of the data. It is about requesting personal data that is not necessary. This is against GDPR, eg demanding detailed personal data fm owners of pets to even give pet insurance quote @DPCIreland

@_PetInsurance_ @CBridge_Chief Also ‘regardless’ this isn’t a claim it is a ‘quote’ there is no justification for you requesting this personal data as per GDPR requirements. Pls confirm that you will change your procedures @DPCIreland pls investigate- personal data shd not be compromised via pet insurance

@_PetInsurance_ Why can your claims department not give me a yes or no answer as to whether my dog is covered for a specific procedure under my policy? My own health insurance and car insurance can do that. What's the problem?
