Leaving to drive to Leeds in an hour with my 6 year old son for a kick off an hour after his usual bed time because he asked to go months ago and the inner soppy bollocks little lad inside my soul thought to myself: “That’s all I’ve ever wanted in a son really… asking to go to away games just before Christmas in the North of England because he’s been indoctrinated into supporting the same club I was by my Dad from the moment he was able to understand independent thought”.
