@MeditronS @umichvoter Ugh… fat finger typing- either that or word prediction failed. I meant to say. “It felt so good to just have fun…”

@MeditronS @umichvoter It felt so so to just have some fun today. I’m a Mallory volunteer & was in the back of that line. I am so tired of feeling angry all the time about what MAGA is doing. We are building community with this team. We are building real friendships & positive energy. No more outrage.

@denadewolf @MeditronS @umichvoter So having real friends and working together with friends to do good things for your community is socialism? That’s an odd take on the idea of socialism if that’s what you think.

@ivandiazbotello The convention delegates were actually a pretty diverse group, racially, ethnically, and in age. In a group of over 7,000 delegates, it would be easy to take a single video and make it seem otherwise.

I keep seeing completely wrong takes from people who are upset that the Progressives won the nominations at the Michigan Democratic Party Convention in Detroit yesterday. The fact is, it seemed to me like the plurality of delegates were white Gen X or Boomers.

@Press4BC @MalloryMcMorrow has been working hard every day in the Michigan Senate since she first flipped a Republican seat in 2018. Look at what she has done- always together with a team: authored state’s “red flag” law, helped repeal the 1931 abortion ban, and much more.

Michigan Democrats! I am so proud to be your endorsed candidate for Secretary of State. Thank you for standing with me. There's much work ahead, and I am ready to #StandTALL with you to protect our democracy and our future. LFG!

@IndivisibleMich @AbdulElSayed I was so beyond annoyed. I couldn’t hear Haley. Even though she is not my preferred candidate, I wanted to hear her. If El Sayed’s supporters are that rude, I’m not likely to want to vote for him.

I talked to quite a few people who were so turned off by this they are no longer voting for @AbdulElSayed. It’s a democratic process, let all speak and let the people decide. Stop acting like children.

@MarieWicks4 I was on the other side of the room & couldn’t tell what the commotion was about. I was not happy with their behavior. I’ll say that it has been rare for me to witness this kind of behavior since I first started volunteering for candidates. These people need to get a grip.

@puwulitics @shannonrwatts At some point, I heard other band/drum stuff but couldn’t tell where it was coming from. The Shkreli team was all dressed in orange shirts & had some folks in these scary looking orange and blue costumes. I thought it odd at first but got used to it.

@KaseyHelton05 Is morning better for you? When works best? I’m fortunate that my work schedule is such that I was able to make one in mid-afternoon between my morning & late afternoon clients.

@_TokyoMarie_ You mean the ones that were held in the late afternoon/early evening? Shift workers like myself usually can’t make these.

I’m glad people who work in politics think this is funny but it’s actually not. It’s Sunday night. Working people have jobs to get to on the morning and many delegates drove from very far. Plus, after all the crowds I’m pretty sure the memaws and pawpaws were ready for bed.

“This proves Democrats didn’t steal any election,” state Rep. Morgan Foreman jokes. Things are moving much slower than expected after voting has closed. It’s been closed for over an hour. The convention was supposed to end at 6pm, though organizers did warn delays were possible

@lilienfeld1 @shannonrwatts Mallory is doing the work to connect with voters in person. This is but one event. There have been plenty of events over the last year where there was serious discussion.

This is the prelude to losing. Many of us lived through this in the 1970s. We can assure you it is not much fun. And it sets up for things like the election of Reagan. So enjoy it if you must. But remember that it does a really good job of convincing voters Democrats aren't serious.

@shannonrwatts If it was exclusively her event it would be fun, but people that don’t support her are also there. Not a big deal in and of itself, just wrong vibe.

@Misanthrope_777 @shannonrwatts Sour pus. Have you been sucking on lemons all day? As for me, I am so over the constant outrage. It’s not good for anyone’s mental health.

@shannonrwatts It's performative nonsense. Out of the three Democrats, she appeared to be the most reasonable. She's just as fake as the others.

@shannonrwatts Shannon is paid by AiPAC to promote AIPAC candidates. Vote against anyone she recommends. If you see her, call her a zionist.

@KaseyHelton05 I attended one of the Zoom meetings last week where the process was explained. They told us to expect to be there until at least 6pm and maybe later.

Many first timers didn’t understand voting was at six or later and my ride planned her departure on the impression we would be able to vote b/t 3 and 4 then leave. She missed a big family function because of this.
