Someone said "McMorrow is a normal progressive during a time in which most progressives are anything but normal" and I think that's exactly right. Like she just comes off as a likeable, affable, down-to-Earth person at a moment in which most progs are performative assholes.

The disinfo campaign against McMorrow is quite astonishing. What do you mean people believe she’s an AIPAC or Schumer shill when she’s backed an arms embargo, rejects all PAC money, and is the only candidate who has ruled out voting to keep Schumer as leader?

🚩 When Chris Swanson announced he was running for governor of Michigan Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan, ACLU of Michigan, and Reproductive Freedom for All Michigan released the following statement: “As we would be for any gubernatorial candidate, we are deeply concerned about Chris Swanson’s past reported support for anti-abortion policy. Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, Michiganders have made their stance on abortion rights undeniably clear. Voters turned out in record numbers to enshrine reproductive freedom into our state constitution and they expect their leaders to uphold their values. With reproductive rights under attack at the federal level, Michigan leaders cannot waver on this issue.” 🚩
