Post interview, when all intervewers assemble to discuss their feedb ack, your feedback cannot be completely off the mark from others

@coolcoder56 Vacancies are more now due to startups. rest price always reflects salaries at that point in time. 5 yrs exp guy in good PRODUCT company used to make 6-8L in 2010. Real estate price for plots in bengaluru in remote area(zero homes) was 2k per sqft.

I am jealous of people who entered the IT job market in the early 2000s. My uncle got a job in Motorola in 2005 and he is now senior engineering manager at Google. He has now owns 2 flats in Bengaluru and 1 luxury villa in Whitefield. His rental income is only around 5 lakhs from real estate. And he helped both of his sons get a job at MNC through his connections. Some people are really lucky in life 🥲

@coolcoder56 There were NO fancy salary like today during those days. HPE/IBM product company fresher salary was 3.5L from year 2000 to 2010. s/w engineers in india saw good money only post 2009 recession. Remember india was cost center before.Senior folks getting 1cr package only after COVID

Personal update: My time in Bengaluru has come to an abrupt end. After having lived in the city for more than 10 years, I have relocated to my Tier 3 hometown in Tripura (Northeast India) for the foreseeable future. When I first came here to study at the age of 16 in 2012, I was amazed by the people, culture and the enormous opportunities that the city had to offer. There is no place like ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು . For millions of small-town men like me, Bengaluru gave hope and the possibility to dream big and extraordinary. It provided a sneak peek into a world that did not exist for us. I have never complained about minor inconveniences that I experienced in this city because Bengaluru was/is/will be 100x better than where I came from. The vibe and weather of this city are unmatched. Places like JP Nagar, Jaynagar, and Banshankari will forever be in my memories now. I will miss my favourite Masala Dosa and Chicken Boneless Meghna Biriyani, of course. Lastly, I am eternally grateful to the locals (Kannadigas) who have always been kind, warm and welcoming to me. Namma Bengaluru forever ♥️

Haha, Bengaluru has always been a city built by people from all over India. Tamils, Kannadigas, Telugus, Malayalis, North Indians and many others have all contributed to its growth. People usually move where opportunities exist. Instead of blaming migrants, every state should focus on creating more jobs and infrastructure so people have the choice to stay closer to home. And for the record, migrants don't create traffic—poor urban planning does. 😄
