Arizona State’s win tonight over Kansas was a microcosm of its tenure under Bobby Hurley. Not as talented or trendy as a blue blood, but hard nosed regardless of the competition. Guy has done a really good job the last 11 years at a power conference job with limited resources.

What advice does Mark Pope have for young, aspiring journalists? I’m teaching an upper‑level journalism course at #UK this semester, and on Thursday, I took my class to Pope’s press conference. I asked him what guidance he’d give the next generation of journalists. His answer was worth hearing.

My 2026 NBA Draft Board 5.0! These are my current top 20 draft prospects midway through conference play, with fluid tier movement for players and their corresponding NBA skillsets. I’d love to discuss any & all placements below! #NBADraft

Let me rephrase: Christian Anderson has moved to PG1 on my 2026 NBA Draft Big Board. There is just nothing left for me to say but SPECIAL with him. There is no other point guard in this class who can shoot like he can, while also having the PnR playmaking and defense. There may be other lead guards who could beat him out in a specific area or two, but there isn't another guard who has his combination of skills. Star prospect.

Christian Anderson is an NBA All-Star caliber point guard prospect hiding in plain sight.

@Sam_Vecenie Very much polar opposites in a way. Boozer: bb iq + intangibles, Wilson: wow factor + elite athleticism. The Duke-UNC rivalry definitely adds another element to the comparison. 😅 Going to be a fun pre draft process.

The Boozer versus Wilson stuff pre-draft will be fun. Both wildly productive, super skill versus power athlete. Funny thing is that I think Boozer as the non-super athlete is pretty clearly ahead on defense right now because of his brain. But that convo will be fascinating.
Kyle Collinsworth@collinsworth55

2026 NBA draft is simple 1. Dybantsa/Peterson 2 Dybantsa/Peterson Big gap 3. Caleb Wilson Small gap 4. Boozer This draft class is loaded but Dybantsa and Peterson are in a league of their own

For the “Tyler Tanner is too small” crowd, he is: 12/12 on dunks, finishing 71% at-the-rim, 12th in the nation in D-BPM (5.9), holds a 2.4% BLK to add on top of his 4.8% STL, active on the glass with a 12.2% DREB. Tanner plays well above his 6-0 frame & the data points to that.
Mohamed@mcfNBA

Vanderbilt’s Tyler Tanner is such a cerebral talent & it’s no surprise why he’s stamped in my lottery for 2026. Off-ball defense extraordinaire (3 STL), passing touch (7 AST), P&R poise, elite first-step & scoring efficiency (67.1% TS) all on display tonight vs. Alabama.

The ghouls on this app are reacting to this the way you'd expect, but they are not real people. Real people--your neighbors, friends, anyone with a conscience--see this and feel angry and sad. Real people know it's wrong.

MARTY SUPREME is phenomenal. As a bonus for basketball fans, George Gervin, Tracy McGrady, Kemba Walker, and this wild Knicks fan are in it. Chalamet said Joe Johnson was flown out, but he never showed up to the set 😂

I’m one of the few who doesn’t watch Stranger Things, but this dynamic of reality vs Twitter applies to pretty much every other walk of life. People are profoundly miserable on this profoundly miserable app. I have to constantly remind myself it’s not real life.
Jason Gallagher@jga41agher

I watched the Stranger Things finale today in a packed theater with my family. It was quite a scene. There were tons of people wearing merch, just so excited to see how the thing ends. And by the time the credits rolled, it was pretty clear that everyone loved it. There were big cheers, big laughs and lots of tears (not from me tho I'm tough 😤). I talked to my real life friends afterwards and they also seemed to enjoy it. I was honestly moved by how cool of a moment this was. An original idea that grew into a worldwide phenomenon that so many people loved. AND they gave us a solid ending. How cool is that? How rare is that? Will we ever see something like that again? Then I check Twitter... And it was just lots of negative commentary from people who seem to get off on hating on things that normal people enjoy. And that's when it hit me. Twitter is our upside down. It's a lot like real life but much darker and full of negativity. Trolls are demogorgons. Elon is Vecna. And all of us are just trying to live our lives in peace with our friends. In conclusion: Stranger Things is a really fun show and I'm grateful for all the good times it gave my family. I honestly think we grew closer bc of it. Shoutout everyone who was involved in making it. PS: I'm clearly Steve in the analogy above.
